I know we are only two weeks into the season but let’s take a look at our top 4 teams for this years new playoff system and the next two teams in the on deck circle. Being this early in the season you have to include some of last years accomplishments…but we will mix it with this years results and see what we have. I will also list a comment on why they deserve their rank.
1. Oregon – Strength of schedule and deadly dual threat QB.
2. Florida State – Concerns on defense and struggles in the running game.
3. Alabama – Nick Saban can handle playing two QB’s.
4. Oklahoma – Defense is playing at another level right now.
5. Auburn – Dual threat QB with an offense full of trickery, deceit, and deception.
6. Georgia – Todd Gurley – enough said!
One thing can be said about sports, there’s will always be surprises and disappointments. It should be fun to follow these six teams over the next few weeks and see if they can maintain their ranking and surprise some people and move up or disappoint some people and move down.
